The Artist's Journey
I’m Sandi Gagne, creator of Imijes, and I started this venture to share my astounding AI art and compositing with the world. My artistic journey has been a long and passionate one:
Early Creative Roots My journey began as the owner of an arts and crafts store in my 20’s, where I made and taught many artistic craft items.
The Digital Years Years later, I became a professional photo retoucher and compositing artist, a role I held for over 15 years. This experience gave me a deep understanding of digital artistry and image manipulation.
The Spark of AI After retiring from retouching, I dabbled in photography, but couldn't quite satisfy my creative passion—until artificial intelligence arrived. The ability to create imagery with AI refueled my creative juices and brought immense excitement and delight!
The Imijes Process It’s so exciting to see new pictures being generated, and then I get to embellish them to my heart’s desire. Sometimes I use a photograph I have shot as a starting reference. I style and craft each piece to be quirky, whimsical, and beautiful. Every Imije is unique and cannot be duplicated.
Handcrafted Quality I take great pride in the physical creation of my work. All Printed Art is printed personally by me on a wide-format printer. I use only premium fine art paper or canvas and archival inks to ensure your art remains vibrant and beautiful for a lifetime.

I also considered myself a mountain biker for 30 years, a mother of goats and dogs, an outdoorsy person, and now I also love gardening in my garden and beautiful greenhouse. My wonderful guy helps me in all endeavors.
